rickstcarr 0
I was at the Reliant Show here in Houston recently and came across their table. They are called the "AK Specialists" and they had some neat stuff at their table. What stuck out was that they had a Saiga-20 conversion pistol grip and fold-under stock on it. I asked them about it and they said they do Saiga 12s as well. Anyone here ever heard or had anything of them? Thanks
dangerman 0
I found their site here http://www.loneeagle-armory.com/products.htm {EDIT} The links to their selection of Saiga's are all dead. They appear to do -47 and -74 conversions. Most of their stuff seems pretty standard, nothing leaped out at me. The site is pretty basic. It is good to see more and more people getting into Saiga's, even if you have to spend some time getting the wheat from the chaff, so to speak.... rickstcarr 0
I have their business card at home. When I get off of work (and after church) I will check out the site posted on it. It's different than the one posted above.
quest84 22
Guys name that does the conversions is Andre Varrin. He's russian and definately knows what he's doing. He had a beautiful 12 conversion at the pasadena show a few months back. He charges 300 OTD for the pistol grip conversions. Which include all needed US parts, parkerizing the whole gun, cutting down your barrel to however long you want it and a custom brake. He usually puts a warsaw length composite stock on there too. He's a good guy I talk to him at all the local shows. Here's the info from his business card. artex-ak47@sbcglobal.net 281-579-0422 He has a website listed but it's a dead link No I am not affiliated with him but I do like to help out small business owners. We've got to stick together.
