bushman 0
Shot some of this in my Saiga 20 and put it back in my truck for about a week.Got it out today and field stripped it and there was rust on the gas piston, chamber ,and on the threads on the gas regulator plug.I also checked my Rem. 12 ga. 11-87 I shot dove season and it had some rust in the chamber and around the gas holes on the barrel.I 've never had this problem with a shotgun rusting up like this.Sounds like this S&B AMMO IS MILDLY CORROSIVE.Anyone else had this problem? KySoldier 2
I thought S&B was good stuff? I always shot cheap Wolf ammo and never had any trouble.

DHunter 1
What is happening to the Saiga is just condensation. The gas chamber gets all warmed-up and as it cools off moisture is condensing in there. Try unscrewing the gas adjustment cap until the gun cools off when your done shooting. I had the same problem when I would take mine out to shoot during the winter, I also hit it with a shot of Remoil before putting the cap back on.
