The listing for illegal saiga's is "Kalishnikov USA saiga". RRA saiga's and EAA saiga's aren't listed and they don't have any of the assault weapon features. Most dealers in cali won't touch them but there are a few who will. Here's some more info from the cal guns forum. The DoJ updated it a few times before they lost the ability on Jan 01 07 via law. Here is the current list http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/infobuls/kaslist...ec4c2/1/hilite/ The Saiga is listed as: Kalashnikov USA Hunter Rifle / Saiga EAA and RAA are good to go. The shotguns on the other hand are not. Any semiauto shotgun that is mag fed is a no no. Also, if you mod the your EAA or RAA saiga to have a pistol grip, you will have to have a fixed 10 round mag (and do the 922r dance) Quote Link to post Share on other sites
