  1. scope link I just got this scope and mounted it on my 223 saiga. It's a Pentex but they are made in china. I'm going to shoot with it sunday for the 1st time. The lenses seem really clear. I like it. I got mine on ebay from a place called camera land in NYC. It was $95 shipped. Here's there website. camera land They have demos that haven't been mounted for $85 plus shipping. The pic is wrong on this link by the way. Mark
  2. http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/...&t=11082005 I have a millet like this on my saiga. It's 3moa and hasn't given me any problems. I liked it enough to get 2 more for an sks and a keltec su16. If you look around you can beat the midway price. Mark
  3. http://www.calguns.net/ Here's where you need to ask. From what I have heard on the calgun forum is you have to order them and have them shipped to an ffl. I know in so cal there were some for sale at the gunshows a couple of weeks back. Mark
  4. http://www.summitgunbroker.com/1838339.html I got my glock 17 from here. They have good prices on handguns. Mark
  5. In california assault weapons are listed by make and model or by if they have certain "evil" features. The listing for illegal saiga's is "Kalishnikov USA saiga". RRA saiga's and EAA saiga's aren't listed and they don't have any of the assault weapon features. Most dealers in cali won't touch them but there are a few who will. Here's some more info from the cal guns forum. You can always ask more questions over there. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=56818 Mark
  6. Just be careful going too cheap. You want to stick with a smaller dot size and you want the dot to be crisp. I've seen a few dots that tend to flare when you turn them up to see them. If you get a 5moa dot that flares it will cover a paper plate at 100 yards. Mark
  7. http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/...leitemid=459296 I have 3 of these millett red dots. They are 3moa so the dot isn't too big. I was shooting my .223 saiga today with one. I also have one on an sks and a keltec .223. Brightness is very adjustable, the dot doesn't disappear in full sunlight. Mark
  8. http://www.natchezss.com/category.cfm?cont...p;prodID=ZMAKA1 Just a heads up, natchez sells promags pretty cheap. They also have the .223 mags. Mark
  9. I have a keltec su-16 and does have it's share of extraction problems. First off the barrels aren't chrome which a big part of the problem. My rifle will get a shell stuck so tight the extractor will rip a chunk out of the rim. I have found that before I go shooting with it I need to clean the chamber really good with a chamber brush and brake cleaner. Also I need to stick with either brass case or steel case for that shooting session or it seems like I have problems. It's too bad because it's a cool little rifle and the trigger is better than a stock saiga. It is mainly a range gun just beca
  10. I'm just curious about the different plastic ak style mags if they were even around before 1994. I always thought ak mags were steel until I got interested in saigas. I'm well aware that there are different rules on mags and capacity for some of the states that are crime free utopias. Mark
  11. Were bulgarian waffle mags manufactured preban or have they been postban manufactured only? Mark
  12. Just curious, how long have the galil orlite mags been produced? Are there preban ones floating around? Mark
  13. For me the one inch tube works fine because it is up pretty close to my eye on my rifles. On a handgun where my arms are out streched a 30mm or larger tube probably would be quicker for picking up the sight picture. Mark
  14. http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/...leitemid=459296 I have 3 of these on different rifles. They work good, the dot isn't to large(3moa) and they are reliable. Great dot for the money. Mark
  15. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=12619 Go here for Cali legal stocks. Mark
