taylorwso 0
I will get a pic when I get home. This gun kicks ass and it's the new favorite of my friends, edging out the MP5. One question: have you ever installed a picatinny rail over the gas block welded in place like the HK sights? That way you could mount a eotech/flip up sight on the front, and if you installed a small piece where the rear HK sight was, you could add any choice of rear flip up sights. How much would it be to re-do my gun? Cut off the HK sights add picitinny rail in their place? If you have done this were the sights too high with the extra 1/4" of rail? BobAsh 582
Tromix doesn't make one, but Cobra does.... Cobra rail
taylorwso 0
Thanks for the link. I'd have to cut that down so I grabbed an old piece of rail and bolted it on. I think I will still go ahead and have one welded on later. I think a doc optic or a burris fast fire would work a lot better. The eotech is good but its sits just a tad high on this gun for me. pics
BobAsh 582
Do you really think you need a high-tech sight on a shorty? I'm not trying to be an asshole, BTW. I mainly shoot mine just to feel the recoil.
headshot 52
On a SBS, all you need is enough barrel to look down.
