nalioth 405
There is always a pin. http://www.gunco.net/forums/showthread.php?t=33590 shows one method of gas piston changing. This question was just asked two days ago. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=19055&hl= Edited August 30, 2007 by nalioth
ArcFault 4
There is no pin, it is dimpled, or staked. You have to drill out the dimples with a bit that is slightly larger than the diameter of said dimples. After screwing in the new piston you can drill it through and add a pin or just flatten the threads so it cant back out. This has definitely been covered many times here, search around. Its not to big of a deal, have fun and good luck.
