22_Shooter 1,560
So I'm thinking about getting this one http://www.veriforcetactical.com/tactical_accessories/751/ . It says it won't fit a Saiga, but is this an actual fitting issue, or is it just because I would need a lower handguard retainer?
nalioth 405
It'll fit fine, if you talk to brother Dinzag about a LHg retainer. Personally, I'd get one of the $50 UTGs from Aim Surplus. Edited January 8, 2008 by nalioth
22_Shooter 1,560
Yeah, I kinda like those too, but they seem bulkier than I'd like. Plus, the top rail wouldn't be needed for my purposes. The one I linked resembles the Ultimak lower hand guard, but at a fraction of the cost. I think if you were to get the UTG and that one in your OP side-by-side to examine, they're not that different.
22_Shooter 1,560
I didn't know you could leave off the upper part on the UTG. If that's the case, that would be a better buy for me then.

Can the UTG be made to fit an s12? Will the Dinzag LHG retainer part work for that?
