Hey Winston? I've had my Saiga for over 5 months now...never knew what that was. I only knew that it looked a lot like a slide release on a pump shotgun. Thanks for asking the question. The SKS DOES have a manual BHO device. Cock the piece then reach in from the top to just under the bolt carrier and pull up the bolt hold open and let the bolt carrier ride forward until it's caught.
