john762 0
I picked-up a mac-90 thumbhole to consider mounting on a saiga & see there is no wood inside the receiver for locking down the 2nd. top screw. I'll add w/dowels a mounting block (if I decide to install it) for the extra strength to both the stock & the receiver. Did I get a bubba-ed thumbhole? How are everyone else mounting the chinese thumbholes? Is the longer mac-91 thumbhole designed in the same manner? Thank's for any replies!
nalioth 405
You don't need both top screws. The pistol grip nut will secure it from the bottom.
