cne 0
okay... got my .223 in last week (gilberts guns) and did the simple 922 conversion mentioned on this forum by several members (tapco adjustable stock with PG from saigastock.com) and surefire U.S. mags. from MS auto arms.) not quite ready to try my hand at a conversion yet (yes i'm a chicken)... i put about a hundred rounds through it (most of them "monarch" not sure if anyone has used this ammo in the past or has any thoughts on it) but it seemed to fire really well for cheap ammo. no problems...no issues with gun...worked flawlessly, the surefire mags worked flawlessly...great trip to the range! the gun is incredibly accurate (with the irons). GreenSide 0
Congrats, on your new rifle. I recently purchased my .223 and I am very impressed with it. I love the trigger action, accuracy, balance and feel of the rifle. The price was right also. I bought the Remington 55 grain FMJ's from Wolly World when I first took out my .223 and the accuracy was pretty good for a $200 rifle. I was able to shoot 2" groups at 50 yards with iron sights, and then my sight adjusting tool finally broke after five years of service! So I will be making another trip soon to get her sighted in at a hundred when I get my new sight adjuster from TAPCO. I am now trying to get my hands on a .308 which seems to be hard to find at a good price nowadays. I have been bit by the Saiga bug and my addiction will not go away! I think I will end up with a gun safe full of these things if I don't get help soon....
