Soundwave 0
I was wondering how many of you have a front side-mount for your sling. What are my options if I want to keep the factory Saiga handguard? I saw this on kvar's site Gas Tube mount. Will this work on the saiga x39? Any danger of attaching your sling at this point? jailbait 2
you'd have to cut a slot in the hand guard, however.... that is a really good idea.
Ak addict 0
. Uncle Mikes swivel . I carry mine slung across my left shoulder. It hangs nicely in front at the ready.

Soundwave 0
Ak addict...c'mon man...I need details. How'd you attach that swivel and what's holding it from inside the handguard?

I just drilled a hole and threaded it in. It has a coarse threaded wood screw 3/8 long. Take off your hand guard and you'll see theres some meat there to hold it. Really easy to do. Soundwave 0
Thanks Ak addict. I'll give that a try. Do you think it will work if I put the swivel further forward on the handguard?

It gets pretty thin the farther forward you go. Maybe use your original with a proper sized machine screw and nut.
