kels 0
If one was made to fit the Saiga, would it be legal? Or are we getting into a 922r issue? thanks
stokstad 4
I havent seen one for the saiga anywhere except ones people have made themselves or modified to fit. And yes I do believe that nasty little 922r law comes into affect if you add that type of stock because it was not imported as such. I may be wrong and I will let the experts on the board say for sure.
Wolverine 10,360
I am not a lawyer or expert on 922r but I strongly suspect that if you modify the approved Saiga as imported by adding a different buttstock you are subjecting yourself to the requirements of 922r. That said I looked up a past thread with photos of a Saiga with the Draganov stock you expressed interest in. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=1990 Wolverine

kels 0
The thumbhole stock I would like would something like the back half of this Howa rifle. If you cut the stock behind the back of the bolt. I cant get it to show here when I crop the photo. http://www.legacysports.com/product/specs/...tm#varminterSUP
MidSSouth 0
Wow! $800 For a bolt action, non-magazine, plane Jane .223 rifle! Edited December 26, 2004 by MidSSouth
IndyArms 10,186
Thats about right... specially for the laminated thumbhole configuration. Savage has a standard .223 with a laminate sporter stock for almost $700... so... figure accordingly.
