fourreel 0
My black APG 12ga 10 rounders are difficult to lock in the gun. I just received two of the new clear gen 2 mags and they will not lock in at all. I think I need to file a little off but should I do this on the front or back lip of the mag? Thanks for the help guys! Edited June 19, 2008 by fourreel
Bvamp 604
the rear lockup tab, is overmoudled to accomodate the variances in saiga magwells. you shave the larger, flat part of the rear lockup tab a little at a time, until it locks in. it shouldnt need much, and if you field strip the gun and look DOWN on the mag as it is clipping in, you will see this tab hits the rear part of the magwell, preventing it from fully inserting. I use a common pocket knife on a 90 degree angle to the flat part of the rear tab and scrape my new mags until they fit snug.
