campiscampy@yahoo.com 0 Posted August 2, 2008 Report Share Posted August 2, 2008 (edited) Takeing my saiga 7.62 39 and converting it to 5.45 soviet sort of an ak-74 convert I guess, (thats what I plan on anyway) Finished the pistol grip fir control group move, but as for the caliber swap I'm makeing it up as I go, anyone done anything like this before If so can you point me to any information onit. I know everyone out there is probably just screaming Buy a 74, but I'm doing this for the hell of it and i have a good bit of cash lying around, (I'm a bit of an amateur gunsmith) So Its not a big deal but any help would be appreciated.
