Ballistician 1
We will get a slight price drop on the NFAs, but not as much as usual due to the economy. YAY! Oh wait. That's just part of inflation. I'm just being a smart ass. By we I mean if you have wage cost of living adjustments at the minimum. Otherwise you are paying no more or no less. But there is a point to this post! In 1934 the National Firearms Act was to be equivalent to several months worth of salary for the average Joe to prevent people from owning a bunch of neat stuff. Minimum wage earners can make that in a week these days. Would BATFE ever change the price of NFAs to reflect today's wages? Or are most of these devices so hard to find and absurdly expensive, they don't even need to bother with it? Is it unreasonable to think a law such as this, based off average salary, could happen again--to something else? Or possibly modify the AOW category and then change the price? Just wondering if in anyone's own research of NFAs they ran into some of this stuff. Thanks.
