RAHREDMOON 0
Hi Everyone! I'm new to the site and happy owner of a 20. My question is: Would changing out the FCG and the Piston be money well spent in terms of better performance ( beyond a good breakin ) or would it just be helping with the 922 compliance ? And is anyone making a folding stock/pistol grip for the 20?

As long as the stock fits a straight cut, stamped AK receiver, you are good to go. Pistol grips are even more universal. Installing a compliant FCG will require you to convert to a pistol grip, at which point the gun will become Evil and will require full 922r compliance.

Under the 922r, you won't need many US parts for compliance, and having more than required isn't a problem, either. Edited October 18, 2008 by nalioth
