lakeracer69 0
Walked in to a local shop and asked about a saiga 12 (IZ-109). The owner called his distributor and I'll have it by thursday for $499.00! About as good a deal as I think I could have got nowadays. Should I shoot it first or just go balls to the wall and convert it over as soon as I get it? I have 2 AGP 10 rounders and an MD drum on order from the next batch. Delta 5.56 0
Most say shoot it first to make sure it is running fine before converting it. Just in case you have problems afterwards, you know it was fine to start.
twistedpsyche 0
Dude that's a smokin' deal. The cheapest I have found them local was 575.
GPalmer 1
Shoot it first unless you can fix anything that might be broken from the factory...
7.62x39 0
Dude that's a smokin' deal. The cheapest I have found them local was 575. I did a little better at $559. But $499 is indeed a great deal at todays prices. I agree with the others, take it for a test drive before you start, just to be sure.

I have a pile of old lead shot rounds that are no good for hunting anymore. If it runs all the light and heavy loads I'm probably in good shape. The pistol grip conversion will only take a couple of hours, I have access to a mill and made all my own AK rivet jigs and have plenty of rivets.
ernestmayhand 10
Shoot it first just so you can appreciate how good your new FCG will be!
