  1. It's also called 550 cord in the military. It will support 550 pounds.
  2. I agree with this one " for all legal purposes" that will get it done if he will sign for you.
  3. Two blocks of wood and two or three ranger bands. Cost about $3.00.
  4. Excellent! I'm glad it went to a board member here.
  5. Just picked mine up today and the owner has another one he got in when he got mine NIB. Won't last long. I have no affiliation with them. Al's Gun Shop Derry, NH 1-603-432-2708
  6. When riviting basically anything, you want 1.5 times the diameter of the rivet sticking out of your material to compress down to form a correct "shop head".
  7. I did a little better at $559. But $499 is indeed a great deal at todays prices. I agree with the others, take it for a test drive before you start, just to be sure. Yeah, I'll probably take it to the range first. I have a pile of old lead shot rounds that are no good for hunting anymore. If it runs all the light and heavy loads I'm probably in good shape. The pistol grip conversion will only take a couple of hours, I have access to a mill and made all my own AK rivet jigs and have plenty of rivets.
  8. Walked in to a local shop and asked about a saiga 12 (IZ-109). The owner called his distributor and I'll have it by thursday for $499.00! About as good a deal as I think I could have got nowadays. Should I shoot it first or just go balls to the wall and convert it over as soon as I get it? I have 2 AGP 10 rounders and an MD drum on order from the next batch.
  9. Yes I know that. I want to order one at the appointed hour on sunday. I was asking what is needed to click on, ect. to complete an order after specifying a cover color on the MD web page. Where do you click next to complete it. Maybe I have a computer issue, that is why I'm asking, i don't see anything to complete the order.
  10. I log in and go to the drum page and select a cover color option, the what? I don't see any thing else to click on to complete the order. Can someone help a brother out. Thanks
  11. Buff, Your closer than anyone to Centerfire in Versailles, let us know if you get any info on the shipment of S-12's. I used to have a horse farm off of Russell Cave Rd. up past Dixiana and Domino and also lived in Midway for a time. John H. in NH
  12. Sicktooth, When did you order yours? I ordered on 4/14/08.
