Big Boss 21
I want to be able to put a red dot and a laser on my rifle but still use the iron sights while the thing is mounted. Since I am in NY, I can't have the laser on it while hunting, which is why I'm not going for a red-dot / laser combo, thus this mount appeals to me. http://www.centerfiresystems.com/MNTAKA14.aspx Can I still use the iron sights or do I need a different mount? Bean.223 365
Hard for me to say, usually they'll say High or not in the description... There are kinds that allow you to look under to see your sights but im not sure, I think you'll have to call em. Edited October 22, 2008 by Bean.

jon_in_wv 0
The answer is NO!! It is to low for the iron sights. The question is why? Its a quick release mount. If the battery goes dead or the scope is damaged it take a split second to pull it off and go with the iron sights. I take mine off and on all the time. It keeps zero perfectly. Ok, thanks for the info. I guess it wouldn't be too bad if I didn't have to re-zero it all the time.

Paladin 37
This will allow a true co-witness of your iron sights with a micro dot like a burris fast fire or aimpoint micro. http://www.ultimak.com/M1-b.htm
