Loose handguard fix

I got a Tromix S12 handguard, and was a bit unhappy with the tightness of the fit, other than that, it's great. I don't know if it was an issue with the one I got, or if I'm just super picky and they're all like this, but anyway. I bought it because I had read that it would fit tighter than the tapco, but it still had a bit of play in it.

 

At my buddy's suggestion, I took an old exhaust manifold gasket (off of a pontiac 455) cut it a bit, and folded it around the inside of the handguard. I then stuck it back on the gun and tapped it into place.

 

This thing is tighter than a nun's pussy. It does not move at all, super solid. If anyone is having issue with some play in your handguard, try this out.
