nalioth 405 Posted November 10, 2008 Report Share Posted November 10, 2008 It isn't proprietary at all. Any AK-74 mag will work in any AK-74 rifle. The Polish tantal mags (both steel and poly) will work in any AK-74 (and are higher quality then some other countries production). The commies held their satellites to some standards. Combat Medic 5 Posted November 10, 2008 Author Report Share Posted November 10, 2008 so its a typo? the site says "not for Tantal" are the poly mags as good or better than the WASR 2 steel mags? all i have are the orange looking ones. one is an IZY im not sure what the others are.
