HK .308 Mag conversion

I have read on a few sites that there is someway to conver HK .308 mags to allow you to use in a Saiga 12. However after searching I can't find any instructions. Is this possible? Can someone send or point me to instructions on how to make this conversion?

The work involved would justify the cost of just buying mags that are actually made for the s12.

Somebody on here worked on getting the G3 mag to work in the Saiga 308. I don't remember the outcome.

i think one of the vendors is working on making a drop free mag well ar15 like thing for them for the saiga.

There were threads about converting the HK magazines to work in the S-12 but now that the Taiwanese five rounders, the ten round AGP magazines are available and Pro Mag and Surefire are coming out with 10 and 12 rounders respectively interest has waned in converting the HK mags. This was done as a stopgap at the time since the Russian five rounders were scarce and expensive.

 

I even got me an HK magazine to try a conversion before I had my S-12 but gave up when magazine availability with the Taiwanese ones were available cheaply.

Is there any information about when promag or surefire will release the mags and how much they might costs?
