heron 0
I am working on a custom forend which will be supported entirely at the receiver, leaving the barrel free-floating. It will not extend forward as far as the gas block. With the gas block exposed, the pins which hold the front of the factory forend will be exposed also, and I'd like to cover them with something so they don't get snagged on anything (like the foam lining of my rifle case). Whatever I cover them with must be removable in case I want to put the factory forend back on. I'd like it to be unobtrusive and tight enough not to rattle. Suggestions?
