starman 1
When converting and adding a Tromix Skeleton Stock, I see on Mississippi Auto Arms site I could use a Tromix Receiver Back Plate (which needs to be welded on), a Saiga Internal Stock Adapter, and an ACE Internal Receiver Block. When the conversion is completed, is there any difference in looks and/or function between these three ways of attaching the stock?
crfakm4 0
I would like to compound the OP's question with the following: Which is easier to install? What are the pro's and con's of each if any? I realize the welding part could be a con but is welding the best way to go? BTW, Hi guys! I just bought a 12g and am psyched. I have been wanting one for a LONG time.

The Ace Internal and Tromix back plate both provide you with the shortest mounting option for Tromix and Ace stocks and adapters. The Ace internal and Tromix back plate both require the stock tang be cut off even with the receiver. The Ace internal block is attached via the remaining tang screw and the pistol grip screw. The Ace no-mods external block adds about 1¾ inches to the length of pull and does not require any mods to your rifle. You can look through the stickied picture threads for examples of all three solutions.

I saw the pics thread and seen a bunch of different mounting solutions and it gets confusing after looking at 100's of pics not knowing what to look for. I got it now. Thanks..
