Krinkovliu 0
Hi guys: I was looking at the Cetmeforums.com site and saw the following notice where someone is contemplating building 75 round drums for 308 battle rifles. He mentions HKs, Cetmes, and M14s, and says that he can build them for any 308 rifle at price of about $300 apiece. Check out the web site, and if this interests you please register with the site so that you can send a message to encourage the building of a 308 drum. As I posted there, we Saiga owners stand to go from expensive 8 round magazines to a 75 round drum while all the other guys with HK rifles...have plenty of inexpensive (ie $2) 20 round magazines so the leap from a box magazine to a drum might be taller for them. http://www.cetmerifles.com/forum/viewtopic...der=asc&start=
Krinkovliu 0
A major complication for the 75 round drum mags: This guy is evidently making the drum mags out of metal and are based on metal box magazines. I would guess that it is virtually impossible to meld a polymer magazine body with a metal drum.
gunslinger308 0
He could make metal that would fill the hole in a saiga just as well as a polymer one does.
jimmbswu 0
If Beta-Mag makes the .308 c-mag, then we don't need to worry about this 75-rnd drum.
