SanSacto 1
I am planning on using Brownells Baking Lacquer in matte black to touch up my Saiga after the conversion. It requires 30 minutes at 300* in the oven. I can barely fit the rifle in my oven diagonally. However, what should I rest it on? Surely I don't put it on a cookie sheet! How should I place my rifle and parts when I bake them in the oven?
BobAsh 582
Right on the rack.
SanSacto 1
Right on the rack. Wow. Thats easy. It won't leave "grill marks" on the rifle like it would on a steak? Haha......

gtnichols 51
Put rack on highest and hang with wire underneath
SanSacto 1
Put rack on highest and hang with wire underneath I don't have enough room in my oven to do that, I think. I have a normal kitchen oven. I am trying to fit the whole Saiga in the kitchen oven, disassembled of course. Really though don't put it on the rack right?
