1mile50 102
I am considering getting a Saiga x39 rifle and immediately doing the conversion. It would be the right companion for my S-12. Problem is, this neck bulge issue. I have a Dillon 650. Add the dies, caliber conversion kit, an hour or so to set it up, and a healthy supply of components, I could be churning out ammo @ 600RPH, if I take my time. Problem is, I don't like the look of that neck bulge. Could be a problem for a case with multiple firings. If I shoot only steel cases, it wouldn't matter to me, but the days of cheap 7.62x39 ammo may be over. For you Reloaders out there, how many firings are you getting from a case? Do you anneal to get that #? Thanks!
SimpleIsGood229 3
For what it's worth, my 7.62x39 Saiga doesn't bulge the necks.
