I want to make sure I have the correct info on a few lines. They are line 4.a. Name and location or original manufacturer of firearm? Would it be made in Russia be Izhmash or Russian American Armory Company? Line 4.d. model saiga 12 or canta-12? ir are they the same? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
kresk 10,063 Posted April 11, 2009 Report Share Posted April 11, 2009 Firearm is manufactured by Izhmash, in Izhevsk, Russia. RAAC is the importer. 'CANTA' is the Cyrillic spelling for Saiga. In either case the model is the IZ109 in most cases, but I've also seen Saiga 12 used. That has been acceptable to the BATFE on several Form 1's I've sent to them in the past.
