Donkismash 81
Trying to decide on my bulk purchase.Federal LE Tactical Full Power TRUBALL Rifled Slug is 8 cents per round more than Wolf but does it offer any advantage for Hunting/Home Defense?
Shandlanos 1,470
Yes. Better quality control, consistency, reliability, and feeding in semi-auto fire. It's worth the price difference, buy the Federal.

They're talking slugs, while you're talking birdshot, but you're right, pfmedic. If you're buying one of the 100-round "value packs" from Wallyworld, go with the Federal. It'll cycle reliably, (assuming there's nothing wrong with your gun), unlike the Winchester. To the topic: I have also had good results with Estate rifled slugs. The quality is good and consistent, and they're a lot more accurate at 50 yards than I expected. Edited June 1, 2009 by post-apocalyptic
