I DRILLED THROUGH THE BACK RIVET!!! now how do I get the trigger guard off?? I center punched and I pushed down alll this metal was flying out of the hole! I went stright through the rivets.[outside was filed for FLAT drilling area] The trigger guard is welded on the trigger plate, so how do I remove this? franco303 0 Posted June 6, 2009 Report Share Posted June 6, 2009 IF YOU WOULD YOU GRINDED THE RIVETS FROM INSIDE EVEN WITH THE RECIVER YOU COULD OF PUT A FLATHEAD SCREWDRIVER BETWEEN THE PLATE AND RECVIER AND HIT IT TWICE YOU WONT NEED TO PUNCH THE HOLES FOR THE TRIGGER GAURD Quote Link to post Share on other sites
