1mile50 102
I picked up some of my ejected casings expecting to see that Dreaded 'Saiga' Doughnut at the neck/shoulder junction, but I couldn't see it. I wasn't intending to reload the x39 because of that fireformed ring. It's mentioned in the manual, but not evident on my casings. I went ahead and ordered a set of dies and if I like my results I'll set the caliber up on my Dillon 650.
Rhodes1968 1,638
I used a strip of black car molding about 3/8" wide from Auto Zone to cushion the ejection port and it works lovely. Not one dent in 40 rounds where before 1 in 10 at least would have it. Seems to be worse when rapid fire or if the rifle is hot.
IndyArms 10,186
Depending on the year of manufacture... you WONT have the bulge in the case neck. or maybe you got lucky and they had an older barrel laying around that got put on a newer rifle... either way... enjoy!! Bvamp 604
does your rifle have the Y stamp and dimples?
1mile50 102
does your rifle have the Y stamp and dimples? It has dimples. There is not a Y stamp above the mag release, but the is a Y stamp farther back, under/below the side mount. It's punched though and the fcg linkage pin is there. The rifle is new and not yet converted.
