paprotective 362 Posted September 20, 2009 Report Share Posted September 20, 2009 (edited) Got this mag for $3 off GB (couldn't resist) after comparing to the factory mag feed height and cycling manually thru 19 rounds apparently the mag follower must sit higher than a regular AK mag.. Its got the anti-tip feature so the mag is level coming up the body. Any idea what type it 'really' is. Said made in USA on the auction listing... No brand though.. hmmm??? Still want to get a bulletguide as I have 2 steel bulgy's (30's) that I want to use also.. I did noticed the square NOTCH in the back wasn't to SPEC 'depth' for the BOLT to grab properly so I filed that a hair too. If you got these mags and think they suck....>>> Try checking that 'notch' before you toss them out.. or send to me... PM me.. Hope this helps maybe 1 person...
