man-at-arms 2 Posted October 13, 2009 Report Share Posted October 13, 2009 (edited) I really wanna do this as a plinking setup; I'm thinking I might be able to pull it off with even less work than a straight pistol grip conversion (wouldn't need a trigger guard, right?). Is there anything to keep in mind or big problems to consider that might discourage me? Can one even buy these kits anymore? Thanks fellers. UPDATE Did a search (imagine that), apparently the KVAR kits (still for sale? no idea) are based on the !@$%ing handguard retainers ALL other AKs have.
