MultiSlacking 102
It was only a matter of time before they went back on their word. And what a lousy reason to try and take away civilians' weapons. After all, someone in the armed services is just that....armed. He would have had access to weapons regardless of whatever stupid laws they want to pass. I guess if someone wanted to really go 9/11 conspiracy theory on this, they could say the gov't had him do that so they could take away civilian weapons? Especially after they called off the "terrorist" investigation side of things. Not that I buy into conspiracy theories...just saying.
volkov 318
Obviously since it was a military based shooting, we need to take the militarys guns.. then we will be safe. Edited November 24, 2009 by volkov

rocinante 100
400,000 on the watch list? Just some unknown faceless civil servant types your name into a computer without any warning or trial or explanation and presto you are screwed out of rights. Sounds totally reasonable to me. I mean what are the odds someone like me would end up on it? Never even an arrest just conservative, been to a few tea parties, post on gun boards, and gets a little politically mouthy arguing with moonbats on forums. hmmmm.
