sksman71 0
Hello everybody I recently purchased a Saiga 223 rifle with standard sporting stock. Can I put a regular type AK-47 stock on a Saiga 223 rifle? or do I have to get something that is just made for the Saiga 223 rifle?I have another question about the standard butt stock of my rifle. The butt stock seems to be hallow is there an after market butt stock that is perhaps more solid. Thanks for any insight that is given.I am a newbie with this rifle.Oh yes by the way I live in California and this is where I purchased this rifle. Thanks so much. Easiest option is the Tapco T6 stock which directly replaces the original stock, no permanent modifications to the gun. Not sure of the legality of sucha stock on the gun in California however, you'd need to figure that one out. You can put a standard AK stock and grip on it, but that takes a "conversion" --- do a search. The conversion work is not that bad.....more guts than skill needed. Edited to correct....that tapco stock is the intrafuse stock, not sure the T6 name is applied to it. Edited December 14, 2009 by RangerM9
