So the Senate will pass the train wreck of a health care bill that really has nothing to do with health care. Instead, it is the grand start of the slide to government controlled transfer of wealth. Think of it: 2.5 trillion dollars to provide health care to 30 million (largely nonexistent) insuranceless Americans. Couldn't we have just provided free clinics for less than that? In my opinion, this has everything to do with a left-heavy government dead set on marching this Country further to the left. I never thought I would live to see the day.

 

Unfortunately, winning back the Senate and even the House in 2010 can never unwind the damage because not since 1951 have Republicans enjoyed a 60 person majority in the Senate. In other words, winning back some semblance of power will not likely give us the advantage that the left has today. Blimey.

 

What about Costa Rica?????
