regal 2
In the Saiga conversions is there any way to install a folder without serious gunsmithing?
regal 2
This is a saiga conversion (.223) would like to add a stock like this, is it a bolt on affair? Edited March 27, 2010 by Regal
thehopping1 105
I think DPH has some thing like that. I doubt it'd bolt on but I think some one does make one that is easy, it just looks kinda funny IMO. Edited March 27, 2010 by thehopping1
regal 2
Classic Arms has this: ROMANIAN AK SIDE FOLD WIRE STOCK. FITS ALL STAMPED AK RIFLES WITH A SQUARED OFF OPEN REAR RECEIVER. COMES WITH TANG AND TRUNION SCREWS. ITEM # AK-SFS.......$47.50 Been told it is a bolt on for most Ak-74's, anyone know if so for the Saiga? Edited March 27, 2010 by Regal
Paulry 50
Regal, Ok, you are new and may not have seen my recent post: http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=51874 You will see a stock AK74 where I bolted on a Romey push button folder. It's OK, better than a Tapco which is bolt on as well. Need to watch the compliance issue. My AK74 is good with the 922r, but some Saiga's could be a problem. Remember, no more than 10 imported parts! Frosty,
jimdigriz 580
In the Saiga conversions is there any way to install a folder without serious gunsmithing? I love my Romanian push-button folder. It's the best of the folder options for right handed shooters, because the stock is offset to the left when extended, giving a better cheekweld. They are difficult to find, though, but certainly not impossible.
Paulry 50
Just got mine at the last "fun show" (fun = gun) for $50 no tax. Thought that was a fair price. This was the first "push-button" I had even seen! Bare in mind, this was a huge show with only maybe 2 or 3 vendors with ANY AK parts! Your right about it offset to the left. It does help with lining up on the sights.
