nalioth 405
You've come across some mangled AK74 mags that are being marketed as ".223 AK magazines" They do not work well in .223 guns due to their shape. This has been discussed here many times before. Stick with Bulgarian Circle 10s or Weigers/weiger clones or polymer galils (all of those are designed to be .223 mags and work well in the Saiga). Paulry 50
They work great in 5.45x39 saiga's!
MTEKIndustries 0
Oh wow so I guess they are crap then. Will they work in 5.45x39 with modification to the mags?

Depending on the extent of the "modifications" done by Century's monkeys, they may work fine. Modifications consisted of "paint" and " '.223' stamped on the floorplate" to "grinding the mag lips" (contrary to opinion, Century did not use any "magic followers" in these). If yours just got painted, it's still a standard 5.45x39 magazine (it just looks funny).
