regal 2
I understand the basic conversion to pistol grip, but how difficult is it to convert to a foregrip like this one:
L5K 162
That's just a standard AKM foregrip, so if you do the front end foregrip conversion, that piece will fit in. You'll need to install a foregrip retainer. You can either pull off the FSB and GB to do this the authentic way, or you can just use a bolt on one. The grip in that picture appears to be the Romanian "Donkey Dong" grip as it is referred to online. It is actually made of laminate wood, but that one is painted. brandywine 5
Yeah L5K summed it up. For what is worth, I don't care for the one fore grip I have on a rifle (a 7.62 AK). It is hard to get 30 round mags in and out without hitting the grip, and I just don't like how it balances. I think if we peons were allowed full auto they would be more useful. But they do look cool, and with a red dot and folding stock they can be handy for fast, close range work.
L5K 162
I have a cure for the foregrip getting in the way of magazines. A little sawing, work on a grinder, some emery paper and amber shellac.
