I bought a new Dremel cut-off wheel and mandrel and cut the shroud off the FSB on my 5.45- no threads. So I ordered a front sight base with 24mm threads, a set of front sight base pins and the spring/pin to hold a muzzle brake, a AK74-style brake, and a Krinkov-style brake. I was able to remove the drum and sight post without tearing it all up. Now I'm ready for the new stuff, which should be here next week.
