garandman 11
Not sure if this would work, and you'd have to sacrifice both a S20 5-rd mag, and a 8 or 10 rd S12 mag. Cut off and use the top of the S20 mag, and the bottom of the S12 mag (after cutting its top off.) Insert the S20 mag into the S12 mag, shim the inside of the S12 mag to use the S20 follower, and cement the two together. Alot would hinge on the I.D. of the S12 mag. Yes, some will call this "half assed" but I'm not seeing anything on the horizon for "hicap" S20 mags.
csspecs 1,987
I don't want to cuss so I'll say it like this That would be I hope you found that as funny as I did. bonding the mags could work, I'd be more inclined to find several 5 round mags and make a franken mag like we used to in the old days. The track at the back of the mag is really important, if you can keep them in that you may get it working just fine. Well provided my 8 round mags work through testing they will be out pretty soon. garandman 11
I don't care who ya are....now THAT's funny! Thanx for the explanation. Sometimes, goofy ideas just pop into my head. I'll pretend to be an adult, and just wait for your mags. Thanx. Edited May 13, 2010 by garandman
