papatangeh 0 Posted August 15, 2010 Report Share Posted August 15, 2010 SO I recently purchased a bulgarian gas tube for my Saiga 7.62x39....and I am wondering if it will fit perfectly onto my Saiga. I've read a couple of posts of people with different origin gas tubes not having a "drop-in fit"....and I was wondering if anyone with a bulgarian gas tube has had a perfect fit without having to modify the parts to fit? thanks! L5K 162 Posted August 18, 2010 Report Share Posted August 18, 2010 Bulgarian AK74 gas tube dropped in on my 5.45. I also ran my 5.45 with a Romanian tube from an AKM without problems. The lugs on the rear were different slightly and I had to make sure I pressed it down where it seated while turning the latch, but once in, it worked 100%. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
