Midwest forend with flip up sights?

Recommended Posts

Just eyeballing it, I'd guess it'd be way too tall. The line of sight using the factory irons looks like it barely clears the top of that particular forend. If you had a rear rail like a TWS or DPH rail, you might be able to put a flip-up rear sight on that and have it work with a forend-mounted flip-up front sight.

Yup, so What if I used a DPH dust cover rail with some rear sight. Surly that would work?

You're working with iron sights on two unproven surfaces that likely will not hold a "true" zero. What are you trying to do?

You could get an ACE bolt on front sight with a TWS gen II rail with integrated/add on peep sight. That's what I'd do.
