Sure, a thicker RPK receiver would be nice to have, but there is no way I would pay over twice the price of a Saiga 7.62X39 for a sporter rifle with such a receiver. Saiga rifles and AKM's work just fine with the 1mm receiver. If one is going to shell out big money for an AK stronger receiver, he/she may as well save up a bit more and just get a milled AK, if you ask me. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
