mgconnor13 206
Saw and add the other day for Surefire's 60 and 100 round mags. It's a quad stack going to a double stack. Looks interesting but pricey. Any one actual seen/ used one?
GeorgiaPD 408
Rusty, I had a chance to play with a demo one (60 rounder) a few weeks ago and it appeared to be well made. The weight was typical of two 30 round mags cinched together without the reload. I did not have an extra 30 rounder handy to compare length, but it does not seem to be too much longer. The 100 rounder is obviously much longer. Overall, the mag worked great with no major hiccups and I would consider owning several of the smaller ones for personal or duty use. I just wish the price was much smaller, lol.
Azrial 1,091
I would love to have a few of the 60's as well. When it comes to 100 rounds, I will stick to my Betamags!
mgconnor13 206
The 100 looks kind of big but the 60 round mags look almost practical. Price seems steep seeing how you can buy 30 round mags for less then $15 a piece new. But compared to the C-beta the 100 round mag looks cheap.
22_Shooter 1,560
How much are the 60's? I wonder what Magpul's price will be when they come out with their quadstack. Magpul stuff is always priced right.
mgconnor13 206
Most places I've seen the 60s for over $100 I figure Magpul will make their own and it will be a giant Pmag and around the same price
