cbryan 7
I'm in the process of designing a "press on" muzzle brake based off of the design of the 74' brakes. It will have a .002" interference fit and will basically slide over the shroud at the of the barrel that way it is minimally evasive to the gun with the possibility to remove if i ever get tired of it. schultze13 354
They make a brake that goes over the barrel the same way you are talking about and is held on by setscrews.
cbryan 7
They make a brake that goes over the barrel the same way you are talking about and is held on by setscrews. I'm not that interested in the look of set screws, thats why I want mine to kind of look "threaded on" with out all the work ( atleast i don't find it to be work) Edited March 24, 2011 by cbryan
schultze13 354
I have seen some people use black RTV to cover the set screws so you can't see them seems to work good, But do what ever you like its your gun and you know what you like I was just offering another idea.
