beefcakeb99 572
I think it is an awesome idea, there are already Olympic shooting sports, we should try to add to that list. But with the world view on civilian gun ownership, it doesn't seem likely.
Gunfanatic 221
I doubt it. Even if they did, it would be a vanilla flavored event by the time they made the rules for it. Edited April 11, 2011 by Gun Fanatic

Getting back to the roots of the Olympics it was a Warrior competition with out all the blood. Javilin, Diskus, Wrestling, and the rest. Just my opinion. They have that one sport were you sky and shoot and sky and shoot what ever that's called. Anyway just a thought.

I think it would be a great idea however, the Olympics have become more and more political over the years and the Olympic committee would probably like to ban firearms in lieu of air rifles/ pistols as some of the events have mutated into. topmaul 42
Military Teams like the AMU would be restricted to standard issue weapons of that nations infantry/service componenent.
