kindapointless 22
So last night I 2 toned my s12 and now I'm thinking about painting the mags to match. Has anyone got any pics of a project like this? I just rattle can the gun itself, I'm trying different things with it before I strip it down and really coat it. Anyone know if duracoat or any other coating works on plastic?
28295_1530300938 0
Did something similar to some of my magazines. I did a krylon job before I did a duracoat just to see how it fit. The duracoat works fine and is more durable and resistive to scratches, but personally I prefer the worn weathered look of spray paint.
kindapointless 22
Well now I don't feel as odd. Once I got it sprayed this time and beat it around I thought it looked a lil better. My guns no shelf queen but after the duracoat booth at the show I realized she needed some color. So far the thread protector, ar stock , pistol grip and dust cover are od green. Don't have my rails on yet so I marked off the grip area on the front hand guard so its od green with the texture area black. I'm thinkin of doing the mags green too. I post pics in an hour or so when the rubber I added dries
