mammynun 14
I needed to thread the barrel on my Saiga, so I came here for info... and there was plenty. I didn't find a video showing how to do it, so I made one when I threaded mine. Enjoy!
KC913 324
Pretty much identical to how I did my 7.62x39. I even used Kroil. But, I didn't use a vice, just my knees.

pjj342 632
its funny how we are all doing or getting ready to do this at the same time. I will be threading mine tomorrow and the help you both gave was invaluable. Thanks guys.
fryyofish 0
Sir I love your attitude. "Well I'm not sure if this is the way it goes, but I'm doing it anyways." Kudos to u. great video just just gave me courage to thread my own barrel. Thank you for posting
mammynun 14
Was everyone successful in their threading endevours?
pjj342 632
Was everyone successful in their threading endevours? It worked out just fine. I have shot around 150rds with my phantom FH installed with no movement what so ever. Getting that first thread started was a bitch though, it took about all of my 230lbs to dig into that steel. After that it was slow, smooth sailing. Just as easy as it looks.
