Casimir_Pulaski 0
I just bought a Saiga .308 from a member off of another site, a 21'' unconverted model. I want to do the conversion. but I am completely new to this (up until now I had a M&P-15 and a Remington 700, sold both to fund "commie" guns) My question is if I get the Ram trigger guard kit that includes the hardware, and the Saiga 308 modified G2 trigger, and a pistol grip screw what else will I need? Do I need a pistol grip screw and nut, or just the screw? I plan on putting the choate dragunov stock on it, if that matters. Thanks in advance
Fallschirmjager667 729
are you using a RAM diy trigger guard or the regular one where you need to cut the hole for the pg nut? if its the diy all you need is the screw, and makes sure the choate dragunov stock will work with the diy guard
csspecs 1,987
Is there a different ram trigger guard for the .308? The one for the Saiga-12 will not fit the .308. You need the pistol grip nut as well.
CPF 80
First step is to test it if you haven't already done so BEFORE you convert it!

Black3 16
Now Casimir Pulaski isn't a name you see everyday, or even every year unless you live in Chicago or some other place with a large Polish heritage population. I grew up in Georgia, so we learned about Pulaski since he was mortally wounded at Savannah and the US fort that was built to protect Savannah from invasion from the sea was/is named for him. The fort is still there as a National Monument but the seaward side is somewhat the worse for wear from Yankee artillery during the Civil War; masonry forts were no match for rifled artillery. This is what he picked lol, I'm glad he did Casimir was a cool guy to read up on, I'd never heard of him before then. Theres a county in my state called Pulaski county named after him
